The Weather Channel television network announced today the highly-anticipated return of fan favorite original series, STORM STORIES: The Next Chapter, in partnership with Towers Productions LLC.

Each hour-long episode will feature first-person accounts of extreme weather disasters and reveal how these disasters inevitably bring out the very best in people. These incredible stories of bravery, fortitude, and ingenuity illustrate our compassion for one another in the face of nature’s most violent storms. Each episode will highlight two stories, with The Weather Channel on-camera meteorologist Jim Cantore serving as the narrator.

“Since STORM STORIES originally launched in 2003, it has continued to elicit positive reactions from fans and we’re excited to bring it back to our slate of original programming,” said Nora Zimmett, Chief Content Officer and EVP at The Weather Channel television network. “In addition to our continued live coverage, STORM STORIES serves as another way to provide viewers with personal and relatable weather stories that will give them even more life-saving information.”
